— Kathryn Alma-Nihte

I hold a BFA from Emily Carr University(2001) in Vancouver, B.C. and a Degree in Teaching from Simon Fraser University.(2002) I also hold my Beekeeping Certificate from Kwantlen Polytech.(2010) I spent a year living and photographing in Mexico on a Canada Council Grant.

I work to incorporate my experiences and observations directly into my works. Every year I participate in the local open studio Culture Crawl in November.

I  study daily, the Archeytypes and Symbols of Tarot and Mythology, and hope to design a Tarot deck in the future. This interest began with a self published deck of Lenormand cards titled - Almamand. I'm registered with the Tarosophy Association (reg no. 1263). I now have a roster of dedicated clients and am always looking to help people with the wisdom of the Tarot.
